Dream Reader is a great way to practice your English reading and listening. Under the section “Fun English<\/a>” there are a variety of entertaining stories around all sorts of cultural and interesting topics.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We recommend you start by finding a story that suits your level or by choosing a topic that is interesting to you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, practice your English listening<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Play the listening without <\/em>reading the the text. How much did you understand? Pause for a moment to think about the main story and any details. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, practice your reading in English<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Once you’ve been deliberate about reflecting on your listening, now read the story while the audio is playing. Pay attention to words or phrases that you missed or didn’t catch when you were just listening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does this help you improve your English?<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

This exercise will help you listening retention, reading, and pronunciation.  It’s like having a teacher right there next to you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
